Dojang Rules
- Safety! Be safe in everything you do at the dojang.
- Respect masters, instructors, fellow students, and yourself.
- Keep the dojang neat and clean. This is all of our home and we all need to take care of it.
- Show up to class on time and focused for training.
- Uniforms should be clean and neat, dress to impress.
- Always bring your full uniform and belt. Club T-shirts are acceptable in the summer months when announced.
- Dress comfortably with warm clothing for meditation classes.
- Bring appropriate weapons for specific training classes.
- Bring sparring gear, mouth piece, water bottle, and towel, for special sparring classes for advanced students.
- No jewelry of any kind, offensive clothing, or revealing clothing.
- No foul language or inappropriate comments.
- Finger and toe nails must be trimmed, and hands washed.
- Any cuts or sores should be properly bandaged or covered.
- Keep talking to a minimum. It is important to discuss when partner training, but stay focused and practice.
- Leave the teaching to the instructor leading the class. Unless there is a danger of injury, allow Others to practice and let the instructor make any necessary corrections to classmates.
- 16. No food or drinks are permitted on or around the dojang floor.
- Stop when your partner "taps and know when to "tap yourself."
- Do your best in every class.
- No shows on the matts.
- No changing clothes/uniforms in training hall.
- Be grateful for your health, your abilities to train, your parents, your family and siblings, your teacher, your training partners, your Dojang and for every small success and victory on mats and in life in general.
