Ultimate Sin Moo Hapkido History

Minamoto no Yoshimitsu, who was born in the year 1045, belonging to the Minamoto Clan, was the first to use the name TAKEDA, and thus gave origin to CLAN TAKEDA.
The chronicles are narrated that it was he who created the seeds of the Daito Ryu Aiki Jutsu, martial art that had the greatest and most important influence in the traditional Japanese Martial Art.
Almost a thousand years later, Sokaku TAKEDA is considered the last Samurai of the TAKEDA Clan, Master of Morihei Ueshiba, who stayed in Japan and later founded Aikido, and also Master of Choi Yong Sul, who in 1945, two years after Sokaku TAKEDA passed away and after finishing World War II, returned to his native Korea to incorporate Hoshinsool and other traditional Korean techniques, create the Martial Art that Doju Nim Ji Han Jae finally named as HAPKIDO.
Doju Ji Han Jae later founded Sin Moo Hapkido and made Hapkido very popular worldwide through his magnetic and interesting characteristics, holistic approach to martial arts and also by teaching and performing as co. star with The legendary Bruce Lee in the movie Game of Death, and of course with consistent dedication and promotion of many top students and assistants including the late SGM Jurge Ziegler in Europe and the late SGM Inwan Kim in USA and handful of others. Also SGM Massan Ghorbani who is responsible for promotion and development of Sinmoo Hapkido in Ireland, UK, Sweden, Romania, Iran, Egypt, Africa, etc. SGM Massan Ghorbani was initially appointed as the headmaster instructor representative for Ireland by the late and the former European headmaster SGM Jurge Ziegler and later he was appointed as The headmaster Instructor represetative in separate terms for Great Britain, Iran and Middle East, Europe and finally World wide as The Senior Grandmaster Instructor representative and as The president and founder of Ultimate Sinmoo Hapkido Federation, this appointment and athurization is valid permanently and independently, and is issued directly by The late Sinmoo Hapkido fouder and the legendary Doju Ji Han Jae in November 2025.
Senior Grandmaster Massan (Mohamad Hossein) Ghorbani is one of DJN Ji Han Jae top students/assistants and third non-Korean practitioner ever achieve 10th Dan Black belt and Gold belt, he also received The special title Joongkwan Sunsa in Sin Moo Hapkido and Sin Moo Associations directly from Doju Ji Han Jae the founder of This unique style.
SGM Ghorbani has competed in many national and international tournaments and championships including Sosai Mas Oyama's knockdown karate Kukushkin Kai championships in Iran, Great Britain and Europe and was the knockdown Karate champion in Iran in 1985 in his own weight division before he move to Ireland. SGM Massan Ghorbani also is a holder of many World and European Kickboxing titles in semi, light and full contact and he is a former World medalist and Wako European/National champion since he moved to Ireland in January 1986.
With the new age in Martial Arts and new developments in fighting skills and the birth of MMA, Joongkwan Sunsa Massan Ghorbani believes Hapkido have to technically upgrade to be able to maintain its original objectives and goals which are to maintain and improve physical, intellectual, social, emotional and spiritual health and fitness and also to have the ability to defend oneself against anyone with any old or new styles or skills set.
